Our process

Know what happens.
And what happens next.

The renovation starts with a conversation, then a plan you understand. The scope, selections and practical details come before a start date.

01

Tell us about the room

First: establish the fit.

Share the project type, suburb, rough budget and preferred timing. You do not need every answer yet. The first conversation checks the fit and what information is needed next.

02

Walk through the possibilities

Next: understand the home.

A site visit helps check measurements, the existing layout, access and your priorities. Discuss what you want to keep, what needs to change and where specialist input may be needed.

03

Agree the plan and quote

Before work: make decisions clear.

Review the proposed scope, selections, allowances, exclusions and schedule. Confirm who is coordinating the work and how any unexpected issues or variations will be approved.

04

Renovate, then walk through

At handover: check the details.

Follow the agreed sequence, with progress updates and changes discussed before proceeding. Walk through the finished room, note any items to resolve and receive the relevant care and project documents.

Making the cost clearer

The quote follows
the decisions.

The existing room

Size, access and the condition of the room affect the work involved. Photos help start the conversation; a site assessment fills in the detail.

The new layout

Moving plumbing or walls changes the scope. Compare the practical benefit with the extra work before settling on a plan.

The finish

Tile, tapware, cabinetry and fittings need clear selections or allowances. Understand what is covered before comparing quotes.

Practical questions

Before work
begins.

How much will my bathroom cost?

The layout, existing condition and your selections shape the price. Share a rough budget to start the conversation. Then work through a written scope, inclusions and allowances before deciding. Your budget preference is not a quotation.

How long will the work take?

The build schedule depends on the agreed scope, trade availability, material lead times and what the existing room reveals. Discuss planning time separately from time on site, then agree a proposed schedule before work starts.

Can we stay in the house during the renovation?

That depends on access, the work involved and whether you have another usable bathroom. Discuss dust protection, daily access, noise and toilet or shower arrangements before committing.

What if something unexpected is found?

The issue, options and any effect on cost or timing should be explained. Agree how variations are documented and approved before additional work proceeds.

What should be clear before I commit?

The scope, inclusions, exclusions, payment stages and proposed schedule. You should also know who is responsible for the work, how changes are approved and which project documents you will receive at handover.

What happens after I enquire?

We review your plans, check the location and scope, then get in touch to talk through the next step. If the project is a fit, we discuss a site visit. You do not need a finished design to start.
